Having served 24 years with Cisco Systems spearheading global market expansions and a background focused on security and internetworking, MacRitchie brings a host of skills and industry understanding specifically relevant to the service provider business. His proven leadership and end user focus benefits customers and will help drive growth and profits.

MacRitchie joins CCI from Telecom4Good (T4G), a non-profit focused on improving the ROI and cost efficiencies of Internet access globally through the collective bargaining power of NGO’s operating in common geographies. At T4G, he headed as Vice President of Global Programs where he focused on internetworking technologies, Cisco and Meraki partnership and deployment programs, and networking and performance strategies.

Prior to T4G, MacRitchie served as Director of Global Programs for NetHope, accountable for global connectivity strategy and deployment. He controlled all field connectivity based programs for emergency response and field operations and lead the charge connecting millions of refugees throughout 71 refugee camps, from Greece to Jordan. By guiding a team of internal and external resources, MacRitchie improved global connections for NGOs and their beneficiaries in times of peace and during catastrophes.

During his tenure at Cisco, MacRitchie held several leadership roles, his most recent being Vice President – CTO and Chief Strategist-Global Government Solutions Group, leading Cisco’s National Security Programs and Global Government Business Development Team. MacRitchie was well known for consistently gaining the highest customer satisfaction rating for each of the teams he led.

Along with his CCIE, one of the most prestigious levels of engineering certifications in the industry, he co-owns New Beginnings Ranch and Midwest Buffalo Company located in Cheboygan, Michigan, where he and his partners sell live animals, produce high-quality buffalo products, and educate new start-up ranches throughout the United States. In addition to his duties as CCI VP and buffalo rancher, MacRitchie and his wife serve as commanders for the Cheboygan County Sheriff Department Mounted Division, utilizing his leadership and tactical arrest skills to capture and apprehend fugitives and support search and rescue efforts.
