Let’s cheer on Les for exemplifying the value of “Respect” and the habit of “Lead by Example”!
“It has been said that “All leaders can manage, but not not all managers can lead”. Les is the epitome of what true leadership looks like. This is evident by taking a look at Les’s team. From top to bottom there is a “can do” attitude where all hold each other accountable, encourage, assist, and collaborate to meet the needs of the business while maintaining a strong team spirit and positive attitude. That doesn’t just happen by chance.
Les has taken a wide variety of individuals with differing experience and knowledge and built a very fluid team all by the example of professionalism that he sets. I have never once felt like I work for Les. Instead, I feel like Les works for all of us and we simply report to him. His concern for all of our professional success and personal work life balance is what motivates us. Les is an open book to what his expectations are while always being available to answer questions or give advice and direction where needed. Reporting to work under Les’s leadership has never once felt like a burden or stressor. That is a rarity and I know both myself and our entire team is grateful.”
