Systems Engineer Joins CCI’s Sales Engineering Team
IRON MOUNTAIN, Mich., November 1, 2015 – CCI Systems is pleased to announce the addition of Scott Randolph to the sales engineer team. As Senior Sales Engineer, Randolph will be responsible for helping develop and grow CCI’s cable strategy with focus on Tier 1-4 service providers.
“Scott’s extensive experience within this market space, and through existing relationships, will play a key role in expanding our service and engineering offerings to our customers throughout the country,” noted Director of Sales Engineering, Trevor Pankonien.
Randolph began his communications career in 1983 when he joined the United States Air Force. After being honorably discharged, he spent the next 25 years of his career with Time Warner Cable, Philips, Mediacom and most recently, Cisco, as a Systems Engineer III. While at Cisco, Randolph was responsible for technical sales strategies contributing to the growth of HFC business for Charter, he made the first sale of HFC nodes to Cox Omaha, was technical advisor on Cisco’s next generation UDTA product and UDTA control system for Cox, and provided training for various Cisco HFC, fiber optic platforms and Digital Video Systems.
While he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Management, Randolph has also earned several notable honors including Cisco Systems, Systems Engineer of the Quarter twice and the US Air Force Achievement Medal.
