CCI RESHAPES ORGANIZATION INTO CUSTOMER TEAMS

New management positions support strategic clarity, sustainable growth

IRON MOUNTAIN, Mich., September 3, 2014 – Looking to increase customer satisfaction and grow sales, CCI Systems has reshaped its organization into customer-centric teams. New leadership positions on the management team, including a new senior vice president of sales, will help the organization clarify strategy and better serve all stakeholders.

This change reinforces just how dedicated we are to providing outstanding customer service along with innovative, state-of-the-art technology solutions,” he said.

 

Matt Reath, with CCI since 2000, has been promoted to chief technology officer (CTO). He will identify and track market trends, lead solution and product research and development, knowledge development and retention, team enablement, and manage internal IT operations. Reath earned a degree from Michigan Technological University and, in 2010, earned the prestigious Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification, held by less than one percent of networking professionals worldwide.

“Matt and his team will continue to build our knowledge base with insights into the technologies that drive our customers’ businesses,” said Jamar. “Ultimately, that helps our customers operate more efficiently.”

 

 

Rick Hurzeler, with CCI for 27 years, has been promoted to chief operating officer (COO). He will work to ensure operational excellence and develop collaborative management teams to deliver efficient, outstanding performance. Hurzeler will focus on safety and wellness, leadership development, quality, productivity, and program and project management.

“Rick will leverage his leadership strengths to promote customer satisfaction while streamlining operations across the organization,” said Jamar. “He has lead the way building operational excellence at CCI and I’m enthused to utilize his talents throughout the organization”

 

 

Joe Smith, with CCI since 1997 and a graduate of Marquette University, has been promoted to chief sales officer (CSO). He leads a sales team of 50, focusing on current customer and vendor relationships, sales strategy development and forecasting, and to secure new business through improved marketing. He will also oversee CCI’s go-to-market sales strategy.

“Joe is a clear strategic thinker equipped to lead the development of market penetrating strategies to bring the best solutions to broad markets and delight customers and make life better,” said Jamar.

 

Ryan Nicometo, an Iron Mountain native, has returned to the CCI team as senior vice president of sales. Nicometo will develop and lead a centralized sales team, build relationships with customers and partners, and help deliver complete solutions while growing sales. Nicometo has proven his abilities in sales, sales engineering, product management and business development at companies including ARRIS and Motorola Mobility.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Ryan back home to the CCI team,” said Joe Smith, chief sales officer. “We’re confident he will help us achieve a new level of success.”

 

Stu Lahti, vice president of technology and consulting, will enhance CCI’s customer experience by dedicating his 20-plus years of engineering knowhow to the CCI sales process. Lahti will lead CCI’s technology customers in developing complex technical solutions.

“Stu’s industry knowledge in cable and fiber optics technology including, voice, video and data is unique to the industry that is looking to expand the technologies of yesterday into future-based technologies of tomorrow,” said Smith.

 

 

Bill Peters is taking on a new role within the sales organization as director of named accounts. He will develop and lead the accounts sales team, driving business, building relationships with customers and partners, and developing the best solutions for customers to ensure satisfaction. Before joining CCI in 2011, Peters was the business development manager at Cisco, where he worked with channel partners developing go-to-market strategies for Cisco VTG products.

“With more than 30 years of experience and a deep understanding of the communications industry, Bill is an invaluable member of our team,” said Smith.

 

Eric Hiatt is taking on a new role within the sales organization as director of territory sales. Hiatt, with CCI since 2011, will develop and lead the territory sales team, focusing on growing sales, managing customer and partner relationships, and offering customers solutions that fit their needs.

“Eric has done an outstanding job selling CCI solutions,” said Smith. “His industry knowledge and passion for providing customers with the best solutions and service are excellent assets to our team.”

 

 

Kae McGuire, director of sales operations, with CCI since 2009, will lead, plan, develop and orchestrate processes and systems including planning, financial management, sales performance measurement, sales infrastructure and assist in sales and marketing alignment and overall sales enablement.

“Kae is a strong member of our team and brings more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience to the table,” said Smith. “We look forward to seeing how she enhances CCI’s sales operations and processes.”
